Success story

Supporting literacy development in the early years

Our Early Years Setting of the Year 2010 winner, Vicky Wilson from Magdalen Gates Preschool in Norwich tells us how she and her setting have worked with us to motivate local children and families love language, stories and reading.

The National Literacy Trust Early Years Network has enabled us to evaluate our practice and make whole-setting changes to the way we support the literacy development of our children. Staff have worked really hard bringing their ideas to life and creating new resources. The National Literacy Trust's resources and information will continue to inspire us and we would wholeheartedly recommend every early years setting join the network."
