Morton Fraser Businesswomen's Network Bulletin Spring 2010
Welcome to our Spring BWN newsletter - even though more snow keeps threatening to fall, I think we could all do with some Spring events in our diaries to look forward to!
Our Glasgow group met up recently at the new Blythswood Square Hotel as part of the Prince's Trust Scotland 50 Good Women event, and we had a number of you mention that you'd like the opportunity to meet informally there on a regular basis, so we've got news on that below. We're delighted to get your feedback and arrange events or activities that you and other BWN members would like to see. We were joined by members of the Hudson's Senior Women Network, and it was great to meet so many new faces.
Our BWN Linked-in group goes from strength to strength and you've been using it for everything from promoting your events to finding out how the new Equality Bill will affect your business. So, if you're not already Linked in, you can join our group here.
We look forward to meeting up with you at one of our Spring events, and we will be bringing you news of our Summer dates at the end of this month - just to get us through the dark mornings.

Perfecting your Pitch Seminars - March 3rd and 24th
|
Next month, Cordelia Ditton from voicebusiness and Ruth Webber from Webber Marketing will do sessions on perfecting your pitch in both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
We are delighted to welcome back Cordelia and Ruth to the Morton Fraser Business Women's Network. Previous sessions which they have led have been among our most popular, so book early to ensure your place.
Ruth will set you on the path to success with an adaptable template for planning your pitch, which can be used time after time. Cordelia will teach you techniques for creating the perfect impression at the pitch itself.
The Edinburgh session takes place on March 3rd in our new offices at Quartermile and the Glasgow session on the 24th in our Glasgow office.
You can book your place now by clicking on the links above.

Invitation to Glasgow Drinks
|
Since just about every one of our BWN Glasgow events ends with us saying 'we should all get together for a drink soon', we thought the time had come for us to just do it!
We'd be delighted to see you at the bar in The Blythswood Square Hotel for an end of the month drink and a chance to catch up. We'll be meeting the last Friday of the month so you can just drop in, and bring any friends or colleagues who would enjoy meeting up as well.
So, put Friday 26th February in your diary, and we look forward to seeing you there.
